Blind soprano proves no barriers to career
Cristina Jones, a soprano singer and student at Cal State Fullerton is living with blindness. However, she doesn't let being blind stand in her way. How does one living with blindness manage on the stage without losing their place?"If I got disoriented one of my cast mates might brush their foot on the floor or make some kind of sound to give me a beacon to go off of," Jones said. "Blindness was not a barrier. They would just say, let's figure out how to do this safely."
