Blindness may seem like an impediment when it comes to playing musical instruments. However, time and time again the general public witnesses remarkable feats involving visually impaired people mastering the art of music, i.e., Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder. Today, Young is a professional musician who “sings by the words he lives by.”
SDCB has several programs that can assist anyone struggling with vision loss.
