Netflix Agrees to Further Audio-Descriptive Programming

In this new agreement, the company pledges to add audio descriptions to new programming within 30 days, request audio-description assets from studios and improve their website to make it more user friendly for the visually impaired.
The advocacy groups involved in the agreement “said they hope the Netflix agreement – billed as the first of its kind in the online-video space – will serve as a model for other digital entertainment providers.”
