Warren Moore was born with a condition called Coloboma, which involves underdevelopment of the retina and iris. In his late 30’s, he decided to quit teaching music after his vision began to deteriorate due to cataracts. Moore went on to start a catering company and opened several successful restaurants with his wife, Georjean. In spite of his blindness, Moore shows that following your dreams is possible.
 
“It was a surprise. I knew how to deal with limited eyesight, but hadn’t counted on the cataracts,” says Moore. “I didn’t want to shortchange my students, so I had to reinvent myself.”
