Common causes of low vision
According to the CDC, the most common causes of blindness and low vision in the United States are usually age related, however, low vision is associated with any of the following:

- Diabetic retinopathy
- Retinitis pigmentosa
- Retinopothy of Prematurity (ROP)
- Retinal detachment
- Acquired (traumatic) brain injury
- Eye cancer
- Genetic eye disorders
