Touchable ink for the everyday printer

An inkjet printer sits on a deskA creative agency and a university in Bangkok teamed up to create what is being touted as the world’s first cheap ‘touchable’ ink. The ink can be used in a regular printer and needs no special equipment. It looks almost as though it has been embossed.
 
Still in trial stage in Asia, it is hoped that this ink will soon be for sale making it easy for people to print Braille labels for their homes and office. If successful, the ink could be used to print maps or artwork to allow the visually impaired to explore.
